Legendary rockstar David Bowie's acclaimed musical "Lazarus" is all set to be transformed into a virtual reality experience.

The music icon's show will be held at the Victoria and Albert Museum's 2017 Performance Festival, which will take place later this month, reported FemaleFirst.

"Lazarus" features music and lyrics composed by the "Ziggy Stardust" singer and its footage will be screened during the 'From VHS To VR' event on April 30, according to the website What's On Stage.

The site also said that the experience will feature the efforts of musical performers Michael C Hall, Amy Lennox and Sophia Anne Caruso.

Before coming to London, the show enjoyed a successful six-week streak in New York in late 2015 and early 2016.

Bowie passed away on January 10, 2016 due to liver cancer.
