A recent article by Buzzfeed on the 'Urban Poor' inspired Soni to open up about her journey in order to be an actress.

Describing herself as an "urban poor," Razdan has mentioned how there is a will these days to spend more than you can afford to maintain a certain lifestyle.

The blog speaks about her childhood, her determination that got her to London and despite working in some big projects in the United Kingdom, her decision to return to India made her the happiest person.
She also cited examples of COLORS CEO Raj Nayak, actress Neena Gupta and her husband Mahesh Bhatt, who literally started from the bottom and reached the top with nothing but grit, determination and audacity.
