Akshay’s Diwali in Maldives

Akshay Kumar shot in Malaysia for his six-day guest appearance for Naam Shabana, the sequel to the successful 2015 spy thriller Baby, and headed home for Diwali. Except that he and his family are not celebrating Diwali in Mumbai this year.

Akshay flew to Mumbai on Tuesday and left the next day for a week-long holiday abroad with wife Twinkle and children Aarav and Nitara and some friends and family. The destination is Maldives and the couple’s family and friends will return post the Festival of Lights. Every year, Akshay and Twinkle have a Diwali bash at their home. This year, they decided to do away with that and travel instead.

On her return, Twinkle will get busy with the launch of her second book The Legend Of Lakshmi Prasad, which will be released, mid-November.
