Ajay Devgn to shoot in extreme conditions for his directorial venture 'Shivaay'

Action Jackson might have failed to set the cash registers burning and had a dismal run at the box office, but Ajay Devgn is all geared up for his next film Shivaay. Taking a year off from his acting schedule, Ajay is only focusing on his pet project, one which he had been planning for years!

And now we hear that Ajay Devgn will start shooting for Shivaay in January 2015. Not just that, the actor-director has planned to shoot in some of the most extreme conditions in Canada. In an interview to a leading website, Ajay confirmed saying that the team would be busy shooting under extreme situations in Canada. The film will be shot at the Calagary mountains in Canada which usually has temperatures below minus 35 degree Celsius.

He also said that along with the temperature, there will a gruelling mountain climbing session for the team since the places the film will be shot at are difficult to be commute to. Cars and other methods of communication is not feasible and mountain climbing is the only way to reach to the shooting spot.

Ajay plans to wrap the film up by mid 2015 and release it around Republic Day in 2016. the film is tentatively scheduled to release on January 22, 2016 and will have a major clash with Hrithik Roshan's Mohenjo Daro
