Actress Keerthy Suresh signed on for Vijay's film with Bharathan!

This pretty actress has been having a dream run in Kollywood. After a successful hit with Sivakarthieyan in Tamil and a superhit in Telugu with Nenu Sailaja, Keerthy Suresh has been signed on for director Bharathan's film starring Ilayathalapathy Vijay. Sources say that they signed her on Monday and she is the only leading lady in the film. 

There were rumours doing the rounds that Kajal Aggarwal was a strong contender for the project, but it looks like the team was looking for a fresh face for Vijay. Keerthy has had good projects in the last year. Now she is shooting for another Sivakarthikeyan film post after which she will join the Bharathan film. 

Bharathan has directed VIjay in Azhagiya Tamil Magan earlier. Though the movie did not do well, Vijay and Bharathan seem to have a good rapport. Bharathan is known for his screenplays as he wrote the dialogues for Vijay's hit film Gilli and Ajith's Veeram. 

The Vijay-Bharathan project is set to start in the first week of May. Vijay's Theri meanwhile will release in April.
