'2.0' | Here’s when the teaser of Rajinikanth and Akshay Kumar-starrer will be out

Rajinikanth and Akshay Kumar’s sci-flick 2.0 is one of the most highly anticipated films of 2018. After having a lavish audio launch event in Dubai, the makers of the mega-budget film are all set to launch the film’s teaser at Natchathira Vizha 2018, Malaysia on January 6. 

The teaser release event will be attended by mega-star Rajinikanth. While actor Karthi confirmed this news during his conference, South film critic and trade expert Sreedhar Pillai also shared the news on his Twitter account and wrote, “#2PointO teaser to be released at the #NatchathiraVizha2018, Malaysia on Jan 6, says @Karthi_Offl . @superstarrajini will be there at the event”

Directed by S. Shankar, 2.0 is the most expensive Indian film, made on the whopping budget of over Rs 400 crore. The film also marks the debut of Akshay Kumar in the Tamil film industry as he will play the lead antagonist in the film. Moreover, Amy Jackson will also play a vital role in 2.0.

Meanwhile, the makers of the film have already intrigued the audience with their interesting campaigns, right from releasing the posters on hot air balloon tour to launch the audio in Dubai. Similarly, we hope that the teaser launch event will also prove to be one of their successful marketing strategy.

2.0 is slated to hit the theatres in April this year.
