Har to dissolve society running engineering institute in Sirsa

The Haryana government has decided to dissolve the society running the Panniwala Mota- based Chaudhary Devi Lal State Institute of Engineering and Technology to bring it under its ambit

This decision was taken unanimously in a meeting of the Board of Governors of the institute in Sirsa district. It was presided over by Haryana Education Minister Ram Bilas Sharma here today, an official release said.

The decision of the state government "to accept the long-pending demand to bring the institute completely under its own ambit would benefit the staff and students", the minister said.

The society had been operating the institute since 2003.
