Bihar Police Constable Exam 2017 PET admit cards released, download at csbc.bih.nic.in

The Central Selection Board of Constable (CSBC) has made available the admit cards for the Physical Evaluation Test (PET) or Bihar Police Constable Exam 2017.

The Central Selection Board of Constable (CSBC) has made available the admit cards for the Physical Evaluation Test (PET) or Bihar Police Constable Exam 2017. Candidates who have qualified in the written examinations can download their admit cards from the official website csbc.bih.nic.in. After a brief technical issue which prevented candidates from downloading the admit cards, the website is now up and running. 

The results of written examination of Bihar Police Constable Exam 2017-18 was declared by the CSBC on February 3.  Candidates who have not checked the results of the written examination can also check the results on the official website. 

The exams were conducted in October 2017 across Bihar. Approximately 11.29 Lakh candidates had appeared in the recruitment exam that aims to fill 9900 vacancies for the post of Constable in Bihar Police. Candidates who were successful in the written exam will now appear for Physical Evaluation Test (PET).

A total of about 70,467 candidates have been shortlisted under various categories for the PET. 

PET examination is scheduled for 19th February 2018 at Shaheed Rajendra Prasad Singh Government Inter College – Patna High School. Details of reporting time for PET would be mentioned on the admit cards. 

The hard copy of admit card would not be sent to the candidates and they have to download it from the website before appearing for the PET.  

The PET is conducted to evaluate if a candidate conforms to the physical standards mandated for the post of  Constable in Bihar Police. The PET will carry 100 marks in total and will comprise of Running( 50 marks), Shot Put (25 marks) and High Jump (25 marks). The merit list for PET will be based on a candidate’s overall performance.

The final merit list of candidates who clear the physical test will be created based on the total marks – written exam and PET. The candidates must clear both exams individually and then score a rank based on total marks.
