Temperature drops in Capital on Saturday

The Capital had a pleasant Saturday as the skies remained overcast with maximum temperature plunging to 31.4 degrees Celsius, two notches below the season’s average.

Meanwhile, the minimum temperature settled at 26.5 degrees Celsius, a notch above normal, according to an official of the meteorological department. The humidity level hovered between 80 and 63 per cent. According to the MeT department, sky will remain overcast on Sunday as well.

“The maximum and minimum temperatures are expected to remain between 33 and 26 degrees Celsius respectively,” the official said.

On Friday, the minimum temperature was recorded at 27 degrees Celsius, while the maximum temperature settled at 36.4 degrees Celsius.
