North Delhi Mayor visits civic-run schools

In order to take stake of the situation pertaining to sanitation and infrastructure at the schools, North Delhi Mayor, Preeti Agarwal made a surprise visit to three civic-run primary schools at Sector-15, Rohini on Tuesday. Various other senior officials of different departments also accompanied her.

Pointing out that cleanliness was not up to the mark, Mayor ordered the Principal and the officials of DEMS department to improve sanitation level in the schools. She further said, "The toilets should be thoroughly cleaned and disinfected, specially the girls toilets. Priority should be to provide clean toilet and drinking water to students."
