A 17-years-old girl was abducted and gangraped by two young men from Rabupura village of Greater Noida on Thursday night. Police said that the complaint was received on Sunday upon which an FIR has been registered against the accused persons and search operations to nab them are underway.

According to the police, the girl's father filed a complaint stating that his daughter was allegedly abducted from home and taken to a vacant house and raped by two men on the night of March 8. The accused have been identified as Arun (23) and Anil (21) who belong to the same village.

"The father has stated that his daughter was sleeping inside the room while they were asleep in the compound when she was abducted. When they woke up, they realised that their daughter was missing. So they raised an alarm and started searching for the girl," said Rajveer Singh Chauhan, Station House Officer of Rabupura police station.

Police said that the girl returned home the next day and narrated the ordeal to her family.

"She stated that two men, Arun and Anil, allegedly abducted her at night and took her to a vacant house in the village where the two took turns and raped her. Later, they fled away by threatening the girl of dire consequences if she told anyone about the incident. The girl returned home on her own in a semi-conscious state," said Chauhan.

Fearing the threats, the family left their house and went to a relative's house. However, the family returned to their village later and approached the police on Sunday morning.

"Following a complaint filed by the girl's father, we have registered a case of rape against the two. We have sent the girl for medical and are waiting for the medical reports. We are further investigating the case," said Chauhan.
