DTC bus runs over woman in Kalindi Kunj

A 20-year-old woman was crushed to death by a DTC bus in southeast Delhi's Kalindi Kunj area late on Monday night. Police have arrested the driver.

The deceased was identified as Ruby. She used to live in Madanpur Khadar slums. According to the police, the incident took place around 10 pm when she was trying to cross a road, but a speeding DTC bus ran over her. Even though the locals rushed her to a nearby hospital but she was declared dead on arrival. Her family members were informed and the body was sent for post-mortem.
