Delhi Metro: Short-circuit at Lakshmi Nagar station in women's coach

Two days after an eagle hit the Delhi Metro's Blue Line, another incident of a short -circuit occured at the Lakshmi Nagar metro station in the women's coach. The incident occurred at around 6.30 pm. ​

While passengers panicked, as they saw smoke coming out of the coach, the train was stopped and commuters were shifted to another coach as a precautionary measure.

CISF officials, who man the security of the Delhi Metro said smoke was seen in the compartment when the train halted at the station.
