When Virat Kohli walks in to bat, it's almost impossible to imagine him feeling nervous to face the opposition bowlers. Such is the confidence and swagger with which he walks in.

As it turns out, though, there is one bowler who's made the Team India skipper conscious in recent times. During a chat with actor Aamir Khan earlier in the week, Kohli was asked is he ever felt nervous facing any bowler in world cricket. The prolific batsman was quick to reveal that Pakistan speedster Mohammad Amir was one bowler who kept him on his toes at all times.

"He (Amir) is in the top two or three bowlers in the world and the toughest bowlers I have played in my career. You have to be on your ‘A’ Game when you’re facing him or he will strike. Oustanding! Very good bowler," said Kohli.

Elated with the praise from Kohli, Amir said it was a great gesture on the part of the Indian captain. “It is a great gesture on his part to praise someone and I am floored at his praise of my bowling. The way he presented me with the bat in Kolkatta is an ever green memory for me,” Amir was quoted as saying in an interview with Wisden India.

"The world knows Kohli is the best. You have to give your best against him. If you give him a chance he takes away the game, like he did in the Dhaka Asia Cup game,” he added. “So I have to focus and do my best to target him. He has the best strike rate and average while chasing so he is also the biggest challenge for bowlers around the world. You become a better bowler when you bowl well against a batsman like Kohli."
