Former India wicket-keeper Kiran More is a little concerned about today's cricketers earning unbelievably large sums of money. He is certainly not jealous about them.

The 55-year-old diminutive gloveman from Baroda said how today's cricketers handle money is crucial for their careers in cricket.

"Money can finish you off if you don't handle it properly," More said here on Thursday on the sidelines of the Cricket Club of India's Legends Club to mark the birth anniversary for former India captain and legendary all-rounder Vinoo Mankad.

"It is very difficult to keep the new generation of cricketers on the ground. I feel scary about them. That is why I always give them the examples of Anil Kumble, Rahul Dravid and Sachin Tendulkar, all great people to follow. They have handled themselves so well."

More, who has an eye for talent and has identified some of the superstars of today's cricket when they were young and gave them the right platform as selector, said that Mahendra Singh Dhoni "is the finest creator on the cricket field".

"Dhoni creates stumping and catches from nowhere. Look at his stance. It may not be great but the balance of his body, the positioning of his head are perfect. He reads batsmen like how Sachin Tendulkar read bowlers. He was two steps ahead all the time. He reads the game so well and is ready to take catches and stumpings. He is the greatest wicket-keeper India has ever produced."
