IPL 2018 Opening Ceremony Highlights: IPL 11 begins officially as Hrithik, Varun, Prabhu Deva enthrall Wankhede crowd

The IPL 2018 officially began on April 7, Saturday with a glittering ceremony. Here are the highlights of the opening ceremony: 

# IPL commissoner Rajiv Shukla declared the IPL 2018 open at the opening ceremony. Vinod Rai, Daina Edulji, CK Khanna, Amitabh Chaudhary and Anirudh Chaudhary were also present on the stage with him. 

# Captains of the all eight teams took the oath to play fair and in the spirit of the game. They did it with digital signatures as not all of them could come for the ceremony.

# Some of the biggest bollywood stars performed at the IPL 2018 Opening Ceremony in Mumbai. Jacqueline Fernandes, Hritik Roshan, Varun Dhawan, Parbhudeva enthralled the fans at the jam-packed Wankhede Stadium on Saturday.

# Varun Dhawan was the first performer of the day. He performed on some Bollywood numbers with some brilliant dance steps from the actor. He was followed by Prabhu Deva who performed on some of his popular numbers beginning with Urvashi, Urvashi.

# One of the highlights of the day came when both Varun Dhawan joined Prabhu Deva on stage to perform the number 'Muqabala'. It was a turly brilliant performance.

# Actor Tamannaah Bhatia and singer Mika performed at the IPL 2018 opening ceremony. 

# Hrithik Roshan was the final performer for the day. Hrithik, Mika, Varun and Prabhu Deva came together in the final moments of the opening ceremony.
