IPL 2018: KXIP or RCB favourites; MI and KKR have a chance too

IPL 2018 started on an unpleasant note with two astrologically strong players losing their captaincy and with that their teams, the chance to win the event. While Ajinkya Rahane doesn’t have a horoscope strong enough to win a mega event like IPL, Kane Richardson is tad younger to do it. So, Rajasthan Royals and Sunrisers Hyderabad have no chances of winning.

While mentor Shane Warne’s horoscope doesn’t promise another folklore victory with Rajasthan Royals, coach Tom Moody is just coming out of a victory in Bangladesh Premier League as the successful coach of Rangpur Riders. He has just diluted his luck factor a bit there.

The experts will have you believe that Delhi Daredevils have the best assembled squad ever and hence a higher chance to glory. That may not be true astrologically. With a couple of IPLs already under their belt, the 1981-born captains Gautam Gambhir and MS Dhoni cannot win any more IPL. They both have achieved all that their horoscope promises in international and club level and have exhausted their karmic quota for success.

Mumbai Indians, Kolkata Knight Riders, Kings XI Punjab and Royal Challengers Bangalore are the only teams with any realistic chances to win the event. KKR have the least chances as they have a weak captain in Dinesh Karthik.

Mumbai Indians will find it difficult to win a fourth title under Captain Rohit Sharma and second one in a row under coach Mahela Jayawardene. Though Rohit has the best horoscope amongst captains, two strong captains in fray with no prior IPL wins lowers his chances. Mumbai Indians cannot be completely written off though.

The strongest contenders for the title this year are Kings XI Punjab and Royal Challengers Bangalore. Both have strong coaches, great teams and most importantly best captains in view astrologically at the moment. Both Virat Kohli and Ravichandran Ashwin have fantastic horoscopes with Uranus, Planet-X (2007 RH283) and Planet-Z (2008 FC76) in exaltation and it is difficult to separate the two. So, it would be either Ashwin or Virat who would be holding the trophy aloft on the 27th May at Wankhade.
