Low-cost carrier SpiceJet today announced the launch of a daily direct flight between Mumbai and Surat, effective from July 10.
The airline will also increase its frequency on Hyderabad-Surat-Hyderabad sector by adding a second daily direct flight on this route.
"SpiceJet is the only airline to operate two daily direct flights on the route," the airline said in a statement.
SpiceJet is the only airline to connect Surat with direct flights to Delhi, Jaipur, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Goa and Mumbai, it added.
The carrier operates 364 average daily flights to 46 destinations, including 7 international ones, with a fleet of 35 Boeing 737NG and 20 Bombardier Q-400s.
