AAI hands over community toilet built under CSR activity

The Airports Authority of India, has handed over community toilets built under CSR activity to Sanskriti Bhavan of Srimanta Sankardeb Kristi Bikas Samity in Azara near Lokopriya Gopinath Bordoloi International Airport Guwahati.

Comprising of two toilets for gents and ladies each and a bathroom, the facility would be of help to the visitors of the Sanskriti Bhavan, an AAI release said today.

"Every day lot of visitors from all religions visit the place for mental solace. Airports Authority of India under CSR is taking up many such works with the help of state government to benefit the society in North East Region", the release said.

The facility was handed over yesterday to the president of Srimanta Sankardeb Kristi Bikas Samity by G K Chaukiyal, Executive Director (CSR), AAI in presence of D K Kamra, Regional Executive Director North East Region, the release added.
