Bollywood hails Mother Nature on World Earth Day

Bollywood stars took to Twitter to spread green messages on World Earth Day, this Friday. Many of them pointed at exceeding harm of plastic, ever rising pollution level, and day-by-day increasing global warming. Here are some of the tweets making rounds on the micro-blogging site:
Actress Anushka Sharma tweeted, "It's so disheartening and terrible to see our plastic addiction destroy wildlife and mother nature. This #EarthDay it's time to wake up, start acting and put an end to it now! #EndPlasticPollution".
Actor Randeep Hooda took on a lighter note and posted, "Now that ones got your attention #LetsNotLoseOurSenseOfHumour #SayNoToPlastic #EarthDay".
Actress Madhuri Dixit Nene wrote, "This #EarthDay let's work together to make this planet a better place for our future generations. Save water Plant more trees Say NO to plastic bags".
Arjun Kapoor shared, "On this #EarthDay let's remember how we belong to the Earth and not the other way around. Protect our Mother Earth and take care of the environment. #EndPlasticPollution"

Actress Raashi Khanna of 'Madras Cafe' fame wrote, "Here are the little things we can do to make every day #EarthDay".
Television actor Gautam Rode urged everyone to "make an effort towards a greener and a better world."
