Tabu has been staying in Mumbai for nearly three decades. But she discovered Pune for the first time just recently.  The two-time National Award-winning actress was stationed in Pune for a large part of the shooting schedule of Sriram Raghavan’s Shoot the Piano Player (working title) with Ayushmann Khurrana and Radhika Apte. And it was during this schedule that she got a chance to move around Pune... and she totally loved what she saw.

She says, “Just imagine, there is this awesome, personal kind of city just three hours away from us and I discovered it so late. I was there earlier on a couple of occasions to attend functions, etc. But it is only during this recent shoot that I actually explored the place. I went around to all the happening eateries including Kayani Bakery, the cultural hot spots and even those places that are popular among foreign tourists. I just realised that though it is an IT hub, Pune is a heritage city that is culturally so rich. I enjoyed what I saw. Now, I am waiting to go there again and spend more time walking around the Turf Club and other places of interest."
