Kangana Ranaut is enjoying playing the lead role in 'Manikarnika: Queen of Jhansi.' And not just pictures of her royal look and sword fighting lessons go viral but the news of her injury on the sets of the film has also got her fans worried.

Latest being, Miss Ranaut getting a ligament tear while shooting an action sequence in Jodhpur. The actress who is performing her own stunts in the film, was shooting for performing yet another stunt at Mehrangarh Fort. The actress was shooting for a scene where she had to jump off a 40 feet wall with a child tied to her back on to a horse back. But according to The Quint,  Kangana in an attempt to save the child from getting injured ended up hurting herself. She landed with her entire body weight on her ankle and as a result suffered a ligament tear.

Her team's handle on Twitter also confirmed that it's not a fracture but a ligament tear and she will resume work in two weeks as per schedule.

 

While the team has stayed back in Jodhpur and will resume shooting for the scenes which don't require lead actress, Miss Ranaut is back in Mumbai and was spotted by the paparazzi at the airport. The actress flaunted her injured leg with swag! 


Kangana Ranaut's love for shooting her own action scenes has lead to bloodbath on the sets of Manikarnika-The Queen of Jhansi earlier as well. While shooting for an intense sword fighting scene with her co-star Nihar Pandya, a sword hit Kangana's forehead during Hyderabad schedule, as a result, Miss Ranaut had suffered an injury on the head.
