'Raazi' actress Alia Bhatt tells Soni Razdan, 'You’re the best actor mommy'

Meghna Gulzar's directorial venture 'Raazi' has already knocked the socks off as the movie is the fusion of love, hatred and suspense. After revealing a hard-hitting trailer showcasing Alia in the role of a spy, the makers dropped a fresh poster of the film which proves she is the real hero of the film. 

Alia Bhatt's mother Soni Razdan plays her onscreen mother as well in this one and gave a shout out to her talented daughter on Twitter. Sharing the fresh poster of Raazi which features Vicky Kaushal, Jaideep Ahlawat, Rajit Kapur and Shishir Sharma along with Sehmat wrote, " The fabric of RAAZI is made up of the performances of these wonderful actors and woven into a stunning tapestry." The talented mother-daughter's mutual admiration continued and Alia replied back saying 'you are the best actor mommy'.

The poster showed the actress as a strong and fierce woman along with the other characters of the film including Vicky Kaushal, Jaideep Ahlawat, Rajit Kapur and Shishir Sharma. Producer Karan Johar also tweeted, "An incredible TRUE STORY! #raazi releasing on the 11th of May! @aliaa08 @vickykaushal09 @meghnagulzar @DharmaMovies @JungleePictures @apoorvamehta18."
The spy-romantic flick is based on the 'Calling Sehmat', a best-selling book by Harinder Sikka. The film is set to hit theatres on May 1.
