Neetu Kapoor remembers 'Chandni', shares a throwback picture of Sridevi and Rishi Kapoor

It's been over 15 days since the sudden and tragic demise of India's first female superstar - Sridevi and looks like her friends and family members are doing their best to cope up with the loss. While one by one, the members of the Kapoor family are slowly getting back to work and their daily chores, her friends remember her in their own little ways. 

Ace designer Manish Malhotra, who was pretty close to Sridevi, has been sharing some of the most beautiful pictures of her on his Instagram handle. Similarly, Neetu Singh Kapoor too took to her Instagram account to remember Sridevi. 

Neetu shared a throwback picture of Sridevi and Rishi Kapoor from their popular film Chandni. She captioned the picture writing, "Reminiscing !!!! When pple said this movie brought back romance in their lives my all time favorite #chandani (sic)."

Sridevi left for heavenly abode on Februayr 24 in Dubai, where she had gone to attend a family wedding. The actress passed away due to 'accidental drowning' followed by loss of consciousness in her hotel bathtub. Her mortal remains were later brought back to India. She was cremated after being give full state honours in Mumbai on February 28. 

Sridevi's ashes were immersed in Rameswaram and Haridwar. On Sunday, a prayer meet was held in Chennai for the late actress where a number of celebs from the South film industry came to pay their respects to her.
