The makers of Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif starrer Jagga Jasoos have unveiled the third song from the film after Ullu Ka Pattha and Galti Se Mistake. The latest song Jhumri Talaiyya is quirky and adorable in equal measures.

Unlike the previous two songs, Jhumri Talaiyya is comparatively soft on ears and it's quite hummable. That Ranbir and Katrina are the perfect partners-in-crime, has been brought out quite well through the visuals of the song.

Jhumri Talaiyya begins with Ranbir looking at Katrina who comes out of a bus and waves for a rick but falls flat on her face as another bus passes in front of her. It's evident in the first few seconds itself that Ranbir can't take his eyes off Kat. He follows her rick and everywhere else she goes. He even keeps a watch on her house.

Following that, the duo can be seen escaping the police from Ranbir's hostel. In one of the scenes, there's a fire in a hostel room. That's when we hear Katrina saying "Fire" while Ranbir stammers as he says "F..f..f...fire". Post that, even Kat can be heard stammering. The scene reminds us of their stammering condition in the film Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani. While in APKGK they stammer when they're too emotional to speak. We wonder if it's the same case in Jagga Jasoos as well.

Next thing we witness is the duo fleeing from the scene while hiding under wooden baskets. We get glimpses of how Ranbir and Katrina help each other in tricky and trying situations. From landing in new adventures to running away madly from danger, the duo complement each other quite well.

Another striking aspect of the song is the bright and colourful backdrops against which it has been filmed. The stunning visuals lift up your mood instantly. The goofy and crazy antics of the leads keep you hooked to the visuals throughout.

The lyrics of Jhumri Talaiyya by Neelesh Mishra, are a fine example of how more is conveyed in simple words. Prtiam's composition is melodious and light on ears and Arijit Singh and Mohan Kanan's vocals are an added bonus to it.

The Anurag Basu directorial will hit the theatres on July 14.
