Irrfan Khan is optimistic about his treatment: Abhinay Deo

Irrfan Khan, who had been in Delhi for a while, after his first post on suffering from a ‘rare disease’, has apparently flown to US for his treatment. He recently revealed that he is diagnosed with NeuroEndocrine Tumour and contrary to reports, shared that ‘Neuro’ is not always about the brain.

Abhinay Deo, director of his upcoming film BlackMail, who met the actor a week ago, tells us, “Irrfan seemed to be in good fighting spirit. With the news that he has given out, he has spelt it out completely. He is getting treated for it. He is very optimistic about the treatment. We hope that all goes well.” We, too, pray for Irrfan’s speedy recovery.
