It was only yesterday that Hina Khan revealed she has been roped in for her first acting project and will soon be seen in a short film by Ankoosh Bhatt, who has earlier helmed a short film featuring TV actor Mishal Raheja. She confirmed her comeback to acting on Twitter and wrote, “Thank you.. the shoot is on for my short film.. will try and post a picture today from the set and bhasudi will release in next two weeks.. hv a good day.”

Now taking the excitement further, Hina not only took to social media to reveal the film's name as Smart Phone but also posted her first look photos for the short film. “Transformation of a butterfly is the story of change and beauty. As an actor we get to add one more phase, Versatility! I created an image by doing a role for 8 years then broke out of the stereotype image I had and tried to look different and versatile.. but my first love will always be acting and here’s another chance Whr m wearing a completely new character to prove my versatility as an actor.., hope you like it. But in this fast age where technology is changing everything around us,be careful and expect the unexpected. #SmartPhone coming soon #ActorsLife #kunalroykapoor @ankooshbhatt @akshay0beroi.” Hina wrote on Instagram.
In the collage shared by Hina, the Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai actress can be seen in two completely different looks. In the first one, Hina is seen as a simple village woman wearing a saree and in the other, she is seen in her usual glam avatar. Check it out here:
Hina rose to fame with her portrayal of Akshara in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai for eight years. On the work front, Hina was last seen in Bigg Boss 11 and was declared the first runner-up. She also participated in reality stunt show Khatron Ke Khiladi and was one of the finalists.
Recently, Hina was also awarded with Dada Saheb Phalke Excellence Award for Best Entertainer (Television).
Interestingly, Hina might also be seen in a Bollywood film soon and we cannot wait to see her sizzle on the silver screen. Till then, we look forward to her acting comeback.
