The actor rose to fame with steamy passionate liplocks in every film, right from the start of his career. From Mallika Sherawat in Murder to Kangana Ranaut in Gangster and even Jacuqeline Fernandez in Murder 2, Emraan Hasmi has proved that no one can kiss onscreen like the way he does it. Earlier in an interview to HT, the actor confessed how he has benifitted from the tag of serial kisser. He said, "A number of my films in which I was shown kissing did very well in the beginning of my career. So that tag naturally became a part of me. People like to label and box things up, and you just can’t hold that against them. And frankly, this was not something I was running away from. I will be honest. I have benefited a lot from it,” His uncle and filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt also agrees to the fact that Emraan needs to kiss on screen to carry on a film to success.
