Farhan Akhtar-Ritesh Sidhwani's production house on a roll with 'Raees', 'Inside Edge' and 'Fukrey Returns' in 2017

Excel Entertainment scored a hat-trick this year with 'Raees', 'Inside Edge' and 'Fukrey Returns'. All three ventures of the production house received tremendous love from the audience making them huge successes.  The production house gave Bollywood many of its firsts this year with all of its releases.

Excel Entertainment started the year with the Shah Rukh Khan starrer 'Raees' which became the first highest grosser of Bollywood and continued to be so for most of the year. Even as the year ends, 'Raees' stays to be one of the highest grossers of the year. 

The Studio became the first ever production house in India to venture into the digital medium as it introduced Amazon Prime's 'Inside Edge'. It received a humongous response with people going berserk for the sequel. The year is ending on a high note for Excel as 'Fukrey Returns' became the first ever true blue sleeper hit of the year.

The sequel to 'Fukrey' is a re-run of the 2013 underdog film and continues to mint money at the box office. 'Fukrey Returns' is expected to enter the top grossers soon. Led by Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar, Excel Entertainment is known for its varied range of cinema that caters to all segments of the audience. The year too saw a spectrum of genres presented by the production house. \

While 'Raees' was a crime action film, 'Inside Edge' was an all-new experience for the Indian markets and 'Fukrey Returns' falls into the comic category. Excel Entertainment never fails to entertain the audience with its ventures.
