Farhan Akhtar approves Ali’s leave!

Farhan Akhtar has signed on Ali Fazal for his next video-on-demand series Mirzapur. While the Fukrey actor already began shooting for the gangster drama in Varanasi, he had to fly off to Los Angeles to meet a few directors and discuss his next Hollywood outing. 

Says a source, “Ali finished the schedule much ahead of its time and requested Farhan to give him leave so that he could zoom off to LA.” There are reports that Ali’s next will also be a biopic but further details on the same are awaited. 

Ali shares, “I was very happy to see that the production team of Mirzapur were in full support of me to complete my schedule early so that I could make it in time to LA. I am doing a couple of meetings and some post-release promotions for Victoria and Abdul. I will be there for about 10 days.”
