Ekta Kapoor upset with Karan Patel?

Last weekend, Karan Patel, who has been tweeting against Hina Khan for her behaviour in Bigg Boss, went inside the house and gave the actress a piece of his mind.

However, now we have learnt that the Yeh Hai Mohabbatein actor’s stint in Bigg Boss hasn’t gone down well with Ekta Kapoor, who is producing YHM.

Says a source, “Ekta pulled up Karan for visiting Bigg Boss that is produced by Endemol. She felt that it was wrong on his part to go and promote another production house’s show. Her contention was that he should be promoting his show and not others’.”

This is probably the first time that an actor, who is a part of an ongoing daily soap, has visited a show of a rival one. However, Karan’s spokesperson says that the actor was following Bigg Boss, especially this year, and was even tweeting his views and when they invited him, he went. “There was no problem whatsoever with the producer. Karan is not the kind to do something like this,” adds the spokesperson. However, in the past, too, there have been reports of him throwing tantrums on the sets, and every time, denials have followed.
