If you are expecting to see more of Sunny Leone in the Trippy song of Bhoomi you will be disappointed. The Central Board of Film Certification has only allowed the portion that the audience has seen on television in the film, too.

Also, the heroine Aditi Rao Hydari’s rape scene has been reduced by the Board. Some of the other changes and cuts that have been asked by the CBFC are words like saali, Asaram, ganda pani, a courtroom kissing scene and some dialogues replacement. There are about 12 cuts in the film on the whole.

Director of the film, Omung Kumar is not really surprised by the cuts. He says, “I knew this was going to happen. It is a sensitive subject, so we have gone ahead and done the needful.’’

Bhoomi does have a lot of violence, and changes were made in that, too. Omung confirms, “There were some scenes where blood is seen. I have done films like Mary Kom and Sarabjit, so I was prepared for it.”
