We have often heard Shahid Kapoor speaking about being truly,madly and deeply he is in love with his wife but it's rare to see him speak about the side affects of being a married man. According to Mid-Day report, Padmaavat actor appeared on Vh1 Inside Access and gave us cute little insight into their household, reminding us of every husband's woes.
Just like every wife, Mira Kapoor also gives stiff competition to hubby dear Shahid Kapoor's space in the wardrobe. Sasha revealed that he and his wife have the same number of clothes and she keeps eating into his space in the wardrobe. Awwww!!!
Shahid said, "My house got ready six months before I got married. So, there was no plan for a wardrobe for a lady. It was supposed to be for me alone. I had two sides, and they were exactly the same size. So, when Mira came in, I emptied one side. Our wardrobes are of the same size," says the actor, adding that his wife's collection of shoes is bigger than his. "They keep eating into my space and I keep throwing them away."
Now isn't this every household's story where men complain about women's wardrobe growing with each passing day.
Earlier, Shahid spoke about how he convinced his wife to take security every time she steps out. He said, “It was very normal with Mira and I am sure there were things that came along stardom which were difficult for her. Like for the first few times, I used to tell her that you should take a security personnel with you and she was like why and after good five or six times, she was like Shahid, people are randomly walking up to me and touching me and all. I was like now you know why? When she took the security person with her, the next day the headline was 'Why Mira needs a security personnel? She is No Star? But that comes with the profession I am in and it's a professional hazard."
Riding high on the success of his last release Padmaavat, Shahid Kapoor has begun shooting for Batti Gul Meter Chalu in Uttarakhand. The film also stars Yami Gautam and Shraddha Kapoor in the lead.
