Alia Bhatt to shoot in Kashmir…

While there have been reports of Alia Bhatt skipping Kashmir for the shooting of Meghna Gulzar’s Raazi, an insider swears that the actress will be flying to Srinagar.

Set in Mumbai?

While reports suggest that a set representing Kashmir will be erected at a local studio in Mumbai, as it is unsafe for Alia to shoot in the Valley, sources say these are “mere speculative safety measures.”

Keeping it real

According to a source, “Kashmir is definitely one of the places where Raazi will be shot. The novel by Harindar Sikka — on which the film is based — is largely based in Kashmir. If there were security issues, Meghna would never have agreed to film the novel. She won’t translocate the novel to a studio.”

In safe hands

One hears that Vishal Bhardwaj, who is very close to veteran writer and lyricist Gulzar and his family, has shot 7 Khoon Maaf and Haider in the Valley. He has looked into all the arrangements for Alia’s safe shooting in Kashmir. “Alia is definitely shooting in Kashmir,” affirms the source.
