Ajay Devgn-Rajkumar Santoshi part ways?

Rajkumar Santoshi seems to be announcing projects only to cancel them shortly after. The filmmaker, who was easily one of the brightest talents in Bollywood, has become more of a proposal maker than a filmmaker, say trade sources.

He has had more announcements in recent years than releases. Santoshi was due to make a film with Salman Khan but that fell by the wayside because Salman and he reportedly had creative differences. Prior to that announcement, he was supposed to do a film with Ajay Devgn with whom he has worked successfully on films like Khakee (2004) and Halla Bol (2008).

However, this time around, it looks like Ajay and Santoshi too are star crossed. A reliable source tells us that the Golmaal Again actor has returned Santoshi’s signing amount to him. In other words, the actor and the filmmaker have parted ways.
