THIS picture of Aishwarya Rai Bachchan's mother's birthday has gone VIRAL!

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s mother Vrinda Rai turned a year older on May 23 and she returned home from Cannes just in time to celebrate her mother's birthday. 

After the family suffered from the terrible loss of her father, Krishnaraj Rai, earlier this year, Aishwarya chose not celebrate her wedding anniversary with Abhishek Bachchan. However, she ensured she did not miss out on her mother's birthday celebration amidst a small gathering of close friends and family. 

A snapshot of the low-key celebration has gone viral. A portrait of Aish’s father Krishnaraj Rai, who passed away in March, was kept beside the cake in his fond memory.Aishwarya and her daughter Aaradhya were present along with her brother Aditya Rai and his son Vihaan.

On the work front, both Aishwarya and Abhishek were offered roles in Anurag Kashyap's next film called Gulab Jamun. However, she is yet to confirm whether she will take on the role. Her most recent movie was Karan Johar's Ae Dil Hai Mushkil, which released in 2016.
