She secured her higher secondary education from Pragati Public Senior Secondary School in Kota.

About her entrance preparations, Nishita said, “besides coaching, I used to study 5-6 hours daily. Two months before the exam, I used to dedicate 10-11 hours to reading up.” Nishita, a national-level basketball player, hopes to become an IAS officer.

“Nishita has worked very hard over the past two years. After class 10, she decided to pursue a career in medicine and took admission at a coaching institute in Kota. Her hard-work has paid-off,” says her mother Himanshu.
AIIMS declared results of its MBBS online entrance test on Thursday, after a government panel rejected allegations of a question paper leak.

Ditch social media: Vahin Patel

17-year-old Vahin Patel from Shahibaug feels what got him the 510th rank is his decision to cut off from social media platforms. Son of a radiologist, Vahin used to study for 14 hours.

“My message to all the students is to stay off from social media interactions. Only then can students focus on studies with dedication,” says Vahin, who has not yet decided the medical branch to pursue, but is aiming to secure seat in a Mumbai or Delhi college.
