Israel Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu loudly praised his Indian counterpart Narendra Modi during their visit to Gujarat on Wednesday. The leaders opened and dedicated the centre of excellence for innovations iCreate in Dev Dholera village, 40km from Ahme-dabad. During a ceremonial speech, Netanyahu praised Narendra Modi for his vision to give a push to innovation for the progress of the nation. He also gave Mantra of ‘Jay Hind, Jay Bharat, Jay Israel’.

Netanyahu said, “PM Modi is changing India. By the force of his vision and leadership, he is revolutionising India and is catapulting it in future as one of the great power and doing it through the power of innovation. He rightly said, each of us has a natural instinct to rise like a flame, let’s nurture that instance. iCreate does exactly that. It takes the small flame of inspiration and nurtures that into a roaring fire of ingenuity. PM Modi and I, are very young and optimistic, young in our thinking and optimistic about the future”

“PM Modi’s visit to Israel last year and now my visit to India mark a new era of Israel-India cooperation, one of the area we are most excited about is cooperation in technology and innovation. PM Modi is right when he says technology is the centre of development, he rightly stresses inclusive development because we all rise and fall together. Therefore a year ago, we launched Israel-India innovation bridge. The idea was simple: Unite, brilliant young Indians and Israelis to help solve pressing global problems,” he added.

The Israel PM said, “I thank Modi for his vision and for his friendship, and for recognising immense potential of our partnership. I shall always be honoured and treasure the moment that you decided to inaugurate this visionary centre on my visit, on the visit of Israel PM. Jay Hind, Jay Bharat, Jay Israel,” After visiting iCreate, Netanyahu said the world knew about iPod and iPad, and there was one more I world needed to know about and it was i-Create. The Israeli PM acknowledged the contribution of Gujarati origin Indian soldiers who were fielded in the battle for liberation Haifa in Israel in 1918. He also recalled that Israel had sent field hospitals to Gujarat during an earthquake in 2001.
