After Patidars and Rajputs, the Brahmin community of Gujarat is set to host a Business Summit to boost trade within the community members in Gandhinagar.

Shri Samast Gujarat Bra-hm Samaj, an organisation of Brahmin community, said that the Summit is aimed at connecting Brahmin businessmen with one another, and to facilitate greater business ties within the community members. A job fair to provide employment opportunities to unemployed members will also be held along with the Summit.

"We are expecting around 1,000 CEOs from Brahmin-led companies to take part in the Summit," the organisation's convenor Yagnesh Dave said.

The Summit and Job Fair are slated to take place at the Mahatma Mandir in Gandhinagar on April 28 and 29. Former union minister Kalraj Mishra, CM Vijay Rupani, Deputy CM Nitin Patel, and assembly speaker Rajendra Trivedi, are expected to remain present. An exhibition comprising more than 100 stalls would also be a part of the two-day business event, Dave added. The influential Patidar community had organised a Business Summit at Mahatma Mandir in January, while the Rajput Business Expo had taken place in Ahmedabad in February.
