P Raveendran assumes additional charge of Cochin Port Trust

Chairman of Chennai Port Trust, P Raveendran IRTS today took additional charge as the Chairman of Cochin Port Trust.

He was the Trustee of Cochin Port Trust Board during 2009-2016 in his capacity as Chief Freight Transportation Manager, Southern Railway, according to a Port Trust release here.

An Indian Railway Traffic Service Officer of 1988 batch, he was earlier the Divisional Railway Manager, Khurda Road Division of East Coast Railway.

He has held several positions in Southern and South Western Railway besides serving as the Group General Manager of Container Corporation of India (CONCOR), it said.
