African ministers, biz delegates to attend annual meet

Over 30 ministers and 400 delegates from 37 African countries are expected to participate in the two-day CII-EXIM Bank Conclave starting from March 9 here.

Uganda's Prime Minister Ruhakana Rugunda and the king of Swaziland, Mswati III, are also expected to attend the annual event which witnesses participation of high-level official and business delegations from African countries.

"We also expect 33 ministerial-level participation and 400 international delegates from 37 African countries in the conclave," the Ministry of External Affairs said in a statement.

The meet would act as a platform for bringing together Indian and African entrepreneurs and decision makers, it added.

It said business-to-business meetings are being organised as part of the conclave apart from several sessions covering various sectors such as trade and investment, agriculture, health, infrastructure, power, skill development, irrigation, water supply and SMEs.
