Lead a life of integrity, graduates told

T A Pai Management Institute (TAPMI) held its 32nd annual convocation at KMC Greens, Manipal.

Bhaskar Bhat, MD, Titan Company Limited, and member of Governing Council Dr H S Ballal, Pro-chancellor of Manipal Academy of Higher Education were present.

Delivering the convocation address, Bhaskar Bhat said, "People who put the institution ahead of themselves have always progressed faster than the ones who put themselves ahead. So, always live your life as a responsible citizen, be self-aware and lead a life of integrity."

Congratulating the students, TAPMI Director Prof Madhu Veeraraghavan said, "TAPMI has always lived up to the motto of producing industry-relevant graduates than just any business graduates. For all of you, the next three-five years is crucial. Because that is when you face numerous challenges and go through self-discovery."

TAPMI reported 100% placement for the 30th consecutive time, where many students from PGDM (Healthcare), PGDM (BKFS) and PGDM (General) had global offers in hand before graduating. The average CTC across the three courses was Rs 10.6 lakh per annum with the highest CTC on offer being Rs 23.8 lakh per annum. This season's placement also witnessed 40% new companies participating in the placement process.
