JD(S) leader Geetha Shivarajkumar has said that she would support her younger brother Madhu Bangarappa in the upcoming Assembly elections in Sorab constituency on JD(S) ticket.
Madhu Bangarappa's brother Kumar Bangarappa is likely to face the election from the same constituency as the BJP candidate.
"I am now in JD(S) and I will fight for the victory of party candidate - Madhu Bangarappa," she said.
She said even her father S Bangarappa, a former chief minister, was with the JD(S) at the time of his death.
Geetha was speaking to reporters here on Friday.
