Congress MLA K Sudhakar's Sri Sai Krishna Charitable Trust workers on Tuesday distributed a truckload of mixer grinders to winners of a rangoli competition organised as part of Sankranthi Suggi.
Sudhakar is the founder and managing trustee of the Trust, while his father P N Keshav Reddy, a ZP member, is the chairman. The Trust has decided to gift the domestic appliance to each of 25,000 women for participating in the competition. In the next few days, more truckloads of mixer grinders are likely to be distributed. The MLA reportedly spent Rs one crore for Sankranthi Suggi, sources said.
