Bollywood celebrities who died under mysterious circumstances

The untimely death of Sridevi, has turned out to be a mystery - from the earlier reported cause "heart attack" to "accidental drowning" - perhaps adding to the list of Bollywood personalities who died mysterious deaths.

Among them is Vasanth Kumar Shivashankar Padukone (9 July 1925- 10 October 1964), better known as Guru Dutt, the famous producer, director and actor.  Guru Dutt, who was part of classics such as Pyaasa, Kaagaz Ke Phool, Sahib Bibi Aur Ghulam and Chaudhvin Ka Chand, died on his bed in his rented apartment at Pedder Road in Mumbai. He is said to have been taking alcohol mixed with sleeping pills. But it is still unknown whether his death was suicide or accidental.  

Divya Bharti (25 February 1974 5 April 1993) fell off the balcony of her fifth-floor apartment at the Tulsi buildings in Versova in Mumbai. The immediate cause of death was stated as the heavy internal bleeding  in the head.  

Bollywood legend Dev Anand was a big fan of Divya Bharti and he made a movie Chargesheet based loosely on her death and mystery surrounding it.
