JOIN USPandeshwar police have arrested three more persons in connection with the murder of Target Ilyas. The arrested are Dawood (38), a resident of Ullal, Mohammed Nasir alias Nasir alias Naachi (25), a resident of Manjeshwar and Riyaz A alias Riya alias Iyya (32), also a resident of Manjeshwar.
According to the police, Dawood was directly involved in the murder of Ilyas while Nasir and Riyaz had helped the accused to hide and had also allegedly extended financial support to the accused.
Dawood already has four murder cases against him and two attempt to murder cases while Nasir has earlier been booked for an assault case in Manjeshwar.
It may be recalled that two accused, Mohammed Sameer alias Sameer and Nameer Hamza, had already been arrested. Ilyas was hacked to death on January 13. Investigations are on.
