Seven rafting guides at Dubare have been arrested over the death of a tourist in a clash, last week.

Razi Ahmed, a tourist from Hyderabad, died of head injuries he had suffered in the clash with the rafting guides.

It is said that 130 tourists from Hyderabad had come to Dubare for river rafting. When the guide Prakash objected to tourists removing their life jackets, the enraged tourists allegedly assaulted the guide.

After they reached the river bank, the guide questioned the tourists for behaving indecently with women tourists, which led to a clash between the tourists and the guide.

In the melee, Razi Ahmed suffered head injuries.
