A diesel tanker and a tractor collided on the national highway-63, near Kukkanur-Bannikoppa village in Koppal district on Thursday morning, killing four people on the spot and injuring eight others.
The deceased have been identified as Channappa Eerappa Hadapada (35), Eeramma Hadapada (55), Bibijaan Kavalur (40) and Mohammed Rafi (19); all belonging to Bannikoppa village.
Kukkanur police have registered the case.
