BJP activists protest against CM

BJP activists staged a demonstration in front of General Thimmaiah Circle to protest against Chief Minister Siddaramaiah who termed RSS, BJP activists as "terrorists".

The protesters burnt an effigy of Chief Minister Siddaramaiah and shouted slogans against Siddaramaiah. They demanded an apology from the Chief Minister and sought a ban on PFI.

Addressing the protesters, MLA K G Bopaiah said, "This is the last administration by chief minister Siddaramaiah. His statements do not become his status."

MLA M P Appachu Ranjan said, "The chief minister has failed to maintain law and order in the state and has failed to arrest those involved in the murder of Hindu youths. The state government is inactive. The people of the state will teach Congress a lesson. The BJP will come to power after the election and will protect the interest of all."

BJP district unit president B B Bharathish, general secretary Balachandra Kalagi and others will take part.
