Chhetri to tie knot today

The Indian national team's captain, Sunil Chhetri, will tie the knot with his long-time girlfriend Sonam Bhattacharya in Kolkata on Monday (December 4).

Sonam is the daugher of former Mohun Bagan star Subrata Bhattacharya. The haldi ceremony took place on Sunday (December 3) and the wedding, for which only close friends and relatives were invited, is scheduled for Monday night. The Bengaluru FC star exchanged rings with Sonam in November.

The Bengaluru FC skipper, Chhetri, had planned his wedding ceremonies according to the Indian Super League fixtures. Bengaluru next play NorthEast United FC in Guwahati on December 8.
